Oh dear, where to begin? To be honest, we didn’t do all that much shopping in Berlin. There was so much to see, we relaxed in parks a lot and it was basically a little hot to try on clothes and shoes. And we didn’t have that much money, also. But windowshopping is alright too so here goes.
SECOND HAND / VINTAGE
There are loads of these to be found in Berlin (like in any big city I reckon) but I don’t think we really got to see the decent ones. Not that vintage shops need to be decent but well, you know what I mean. You’ll always come across several vintage shops in every area in Berlin so just walk and look around.
(Paul’s Boutique’s packed, even on the outside)
Paul’s Boutique: this shop was rather interesting. Not only does Paul sell second hand clothes in his shop, there’s also numerous memorabilia on the walls, shelves, counter and pretty much everywhere else. I’m talking about robots, Star Wars stuff, crazy dolls, posters. You name it, they’ll probably have it. Oh, and loads of sneakers. This one is definitely worth a look around.
Oderbergerstrasse 47
Made In Berlin: this was a pretty good shop but by then the heat had already killed us and we hardly had any energy left to look around. And we felt the stuff was rather overpriced for secondhand, also.
Neue Schönhauser Strasse 19
Jumbo Secondhand: this might be one to avoid, actually. It was right across from where we stayed one night and it looked as weird from the inside as it did from the outside. Amount of porn boots was a little too high.
Wiener Strasse 63
OTHER
PotiPoti: right next to Luigi Zuckermann, what more could you wish for? This cute, tiny shop sells stuff by young designers. Really quirky and fun jewelry, especially.
Rosenthalerstrasse 66
Misses & Marbles: all kinds of colourful bits and bobs, perfect for gifts.
Raumerstrasse 36
Cyroline: really cute, feminine clothes (male section as wel, suffice to say we didn’t go there) where both me and Hermine actually found a dress. That says it all really. Super friendly staff and pretty cheap. Yet you won’t see anyone else wearing it anytime soon.
Oderbergerstrasse 43 (this area – incl. Kastanienallee – is definitely worth a look, all kinds of cute shops)

Do You Read Me?!: cute bookshop filled with… magazines! Lots and lots of them, big ones, small ones and all of them rather exclusive and unique. Not your weekly read as a matter of speaking. Do wish I could spend more money on magazines, they just FEEL so nice.
Auguststrasse 28
Again: just look around in the area, there are always nice shops to discover. It’s Berlin, there’s something to see on every corner of the street!
The end. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll be blogging from Berlin? Let’s hope so.

PS: thank you to my tippers, namely Mayken, Gabrielle, Martijn, Michael Benjamin Lerner, Herlinde & CouchSurfing hosts Sarina and Juliane.
